- Under V (d) Maintenance and repair of customer's water and sewer pipes best practices allows PHSC to require home owner in some situations to replace their entire line for service to water meter.
- Paragraphs XII (c) and (d), Bills for Water and Sewer Service, describe a homeowner's responsibilities for water bills when their house is used as rental property.
- Under paragraph XIV (b) Abatement and Refunds an upper limit on an abated bill to a homeowner is described.

Rebate for Septic Tank Cleaning: Your PHSC will pay you $100 towards cleaning your septic tank. Standard practice is to clean a tank every 3-5 years depending on the size of the household. Send a copy of your receipt to PHSC for the reimbursement. This offer is based on 3-5 year cleaning intervals.
