Welcome to the PHSC website. The Albemarle County Peacock Hill subdivision is supplied water by the Peacock Hill Service Company (PHSC) a Commonwealth of Virginia State Corporation. It is owned by the Peacock Hill Community Association, purchased in 1991 from the community's original developer. The PHSC is a community-run water utility managed by 6 volunteer homeowners and 3 part-time staff who operate eight wells, two water tanks and a sewer system. Individual homeowner wells are prohibited. The design of the water system was approved by the Virginia State Health Department to accommodate approximately 180 lots. The system presently serves 173 homeowners. Click About the PHSC for more information.
