Welcome to the PHSC website. The Albemarle County Peacock Hill subdivision is supplied water by the Peacock Hill Service Company (PHSC) a Commonwealth of Virginia State Corporation. It is owned by the Peacock Hill Community Association, purchased in 1991 from the community's original developer. The PHSC is a community-run water utility managed by 6 volunteer homeowners and 3 part-time staff who operate eight wells, two water tanks and a sewer system. Individual homeowner wells are prohibited. The design of the water system was approved by the Virginia State Health Department to accommodate approximately 180 lots.
